We are very excited to announce the publications of two new books dealing with CLIL in the Japanese setting.
The first one is, an edited volume by Makoto Ikeda, Yoshinori Watanabe and Shinichi Izumi, published by Sophia University Press. This book is the Third release in an excellent and groundbreaking series of books which have detailed the innovations regarding CLIL that are being implemented at Sophia University. In this way they provide a valuable case-study as well as up-t0-date and relevant research on CLIL in the Japanese context.
You can acquire the book from amazon here.
The second is by Shinichi Izumi, published by ALC. This book focuses on “Focus on Form” in CLIL methodology, providing a valuable look at the important yet often neglected language element of CLIL learning and teaching, available here.
We hope these new volumes will continue to foster support for the ever growing work being done on CLIL in Japan. Please use the comments form below if you would like to discuss anything related to these two excellent titles.
